AI has become genuinely useful, and almost everybody sells it the same way: a monthly fee per person, plus metering on top. At the frontier, a single task costs between $1.23 and $3.14 to run. Multiply that across a team, across a year, and it never stops. You are effectively paying rent on the ability to think faster.
The uncomfortable part is what you get for it. No asset. No control over pricing. No say when a model you built a process around gets retired. And every document you feed it leaves your building and lands somewhere you cannot audit — which, for anyone handling client files, medical notes, legal work or payroll, is a real problem and not a theoretical one.
Meanwhile, open-weight models got very good, and the hardware to run them got cheap enough to sit under a desk. A capable model on a machine you own will handle the overwhelming majority of what a small business actually needs doing — drafting, summarising, extracting, reporting, coding, answering questions over your own files.
So we build that machine, install it properly, and then stop charging you.
Own it, don't rent it
Every other tool a business depends on is a subscription now. AI does not have to be. The hardware is cheap enough, and the open-weight models are good enough, that a business can simply buy the thing and be done.
Your data is yours
The moment your contracts, client records and payroll go into someone else's model, you have lost control of where they sit and who trains on them. Ours never leave your building because there is nowhere for them to go.
Say what's true
We will not tell you a 27-billion-parameter model on your desk beats the largest hosted models on every task, because it doesn't. We will tell you exactly what it does well, and we publish measured numbers, not hopeful ones.
Setup is the product
Anyone can order parts. The value is in the machine arriving configured, connected to your systems, loaded with your documents, with your team trained on it. That is the work.
