The server
A small app you install once on the computer that will hold your models — a Mac mini or Mac Studio in the office, or the Mac on your desk. It downloads models, runs them, and keeps everything your business does with them on that machine.
Your browser
Nothing to install for the people who use it. Your Albatross has its own address — yourbusiness.app.albatrosss.ai — that works from the office, from home, from a phone. Sign in and talk to your models.
Install the server
Download this on the Mac you want to host your models on. Open it, drag Albatross to Applications, and run it — it starts its own server and database and tells you when it's ready.
Pick a Mac with as much memory as you can. 16 GB runs the small models; 32 GB and up runs the good ones; 64 GB and up runs several at once. Memory is what decides which models you can use.

First launch: macOS may say it can't check the developer. Right-click the app → Open → Open. We install in person for customers.
Open it in your browser and claim your address
- 01 On that Mac, open localhost:8787 — the Albatross window has a button for it too.
- 02 Create an account. The first account becomes the owner of that server.
- 03 In Settings → Remote access, choose a name. That's your address — yourname.app.albatrosss.ai — and it works from any device, anywhere, from that moment.
- 04 Open Models, pick one that fits your memory, download it, and talk to it.
